MANAGEMENT OF RISK (MOR®)

Sterling provides the  M_o_R Foundation and Practitioner course as public schedule which runs in conjunction with a select training partner. Feedback from delegates shows that M_o_R training adds value to Project, Programme or Portfolio Risk Management. Courses provide face-to-face instruction with tutors that have years of experience in both training and Risk Management.
You should attend M_o_R training if you need guidance on a controlled approach to identify, analyse and manage risk at strategic, programme, project and operational level. Success in the M_o_R Foundation exam is a pre requisite to sitting the Practitioner exam. You will also benefit if you are from other disciplines, particularly if you are responsible for establishing standards and integration with MSP and PRINCE2.

AGILE FOUNDATION PM

Agile Training is based on proven fundamentals within DSDM Atern, but has been revised to cover all projects, including software. The new certification provides the ability to deliver Agile Projects in organizations requiring standards, consistency and visibility around Project Management. Agile enables fast pace, change and empowerment. Agile training will teach you how to lay the foundations to manage your successful projects. You will learn how to clarify the different management styles needed for successful Agile Projects compared to traditional projects.

Agile Project Management Foundation Course

Sterling has a public schedule of Agile Foundation courses. Feedback from delegates shows that Sterling has some of the best classroom training in the industry, providing face-to-face instruction with tutors that have years of experience in both training and the fields they are teaching. Agile Foundation provides you with the basic fundamentals to approach a project in an Agile fashion. Agile Project Management can be used for all projects, not just IT.

You should attend if you are involved in projects with a need for a formal qualification at Foundation level. At least 20 hours pre-course preparation is required. You will sit the 40 minute, multiple-choice exam on the third day. Agile Foundation PM is ran in conjunction with Cupe International Limited (UK).

PRINCE2® – 2017 Practitioner Course

PRINCE2® (an acronym for Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a project management methodology that encompasses the high level management, control and organisation of a project.  It was developed by the UK Government primarily for IT projects but has since been adapted for use with any project in any sector.  It has now become the international standard for Project Management.  There are three levels of PRINCE2® training depending on the seniority of the delegate and the need for applying the methodology on a day to day basis.

We at Sterling International have been teaching PRINCE2® courses for over a decade and place a strong emphasis on the quality of our trainers and course materials.  All our trainers are highly experienced both in Project Management and Training.  This ensures that all our courses are taught in an engaging manner backed up by real-life experiences and examples.  Sterling’s high standards are also reflected in our choice of training venues ensuring that the training environments are conducive to success.  This course is accredited by APMG on behalf of AXELOS Limited.

This 2-day APMG accredited Practitioner level course builds on the knowledge gained from the Foundation course.  Passing the Foundation level is a pre-requisite of taking this course.

The PRINCE2® methodology is used to explore in-depth a Project Management case study and prepare delegates for the Practitioner exam.  The course concludes with the 2½ hour open book multiple choice and matching Practitioner exam.  The pass mark for this exam is 55% and Sterling delegates have a very high success rate at this level.

The following qualifications can be used to attend the Practitioner course without having passed the Foundation course:

This 3-day APMG accredited Foundation level course explores the fundamentals of the PRINCE2® methodology.  The 7 principles, themes and processes are introduced giving delegates the method, vocabulary and confidence to work as part of a PRINCE2® Project Team.

At the end of the course is a one hour, 60-question multiple choice exam.  The pass mark is 55% and Sterling is very proud of its 100% success rate for this exam.

Passing the Foundation exam is a pre-requisite for joining the Practitioner course.

BUSINESS ANALYSIS PROCESS MODELLING

Course Overview

This is an introductory course designed to provide participants with a basic understanding of the benefits, functions and impact a business analyst has within an organization.

The course discusses the business analysis process as it is applied throughout a project as well as the pre-project activities that comprise strategy analysis.,/p>

Participants learn how a business analyst supports the project throughout the solution development life cycle, from defining business needs and solution scope to validating that requirements have been met in the testing phase and ensuring the solution continues to provide value after implementation
